Fees & Rebates

Sunroom Psychology is a private practice and does not offer bulk-billing services.

The Australian Association of Psychologists Inc (AAPi) currently recommend a fee of $340 for a 50-minute consultation.

We aim to continue offering fees well below this recommendation. Fees are payable in full at the time of consultation.

Clinical Psychologist – individual consultation

Standard 50-minute session

You may be eligible for a Medicare rebate of $149.05; out of pocket fee of $85.95.

If you have private health cover with extras, you may qualify for a rebate through your fund.

Please contact your PHF directly to confirm.

Please note: you cannot claim through both Medicare and private health.

Standard 60-minute supervision session

Cancelling or rescheduling your appointment requires a minimum of 24 hours’ notice.

Cancelling or rescheduling within 24 hours of your appointment time may incur a cancellation

fee of $100.

No-shows will be charged the full appointment fee ($235).

At Sunroom Psychology, you do not need a referral to book an appointment.

However, if you wish to claim through Medicare, then you may be eligible for a Mental Health Care Plan through your GP.

Referrals can be sent to us via email or you can bring the paperwork along with you to your initial session.

Please note we do not accept urgent referrals.
